Precision, custom made, sealed harmonica combs that will beautify your harp and produce a rich tone.

Not only will these combs beautify your harp, it will improve its performance and some say the tone. Our customers have reported that the combs produce a warmer, richer tone, and that you can get "more air" through the combs. These combs are designed to enhance the airflow of the instrument, improving its response and volume.

How are they made? Every comb is precision cut with a CNC Machine, hand-sand and polish, seal with food-safe lacquer. The outside edge of the comb is air brushed for a beautiful finish. DymondWood is a highly engineered wood/plastic composite, that has the physical and mechanical properties of high density hardwood, acrylic, polycarbonate plastics and brass. Here, brightly dyed northern hardwood veneers are combined with engineering grade resins, heat and pressure to create a product that has the best characteristics of each. DymondWood is distinguished by its unique strength, durability, dimensional stability, and weather and moisture resistance as compared to regular wood. NOTICE: Dymondwood is a safe product, it has been used for years by many harp builders. However, it is made with epoxy and resin and the combs can have a slight plastic/chemical like odor. This dissipates over time. We strongly recommend you let them air out a few days before playing them. You can try rubbing chapstick or mineral oil on the comb.
